Meet The Team

With more than 30 years of experience in financial services, Claire is a regulatory expert championing the Isle of Man’s fund offering.

She provides technical insight into complex fund structures, offering guidance and support to the fund and treasury team to ensure effective compliance with evolving regulatory standards and pragmatic solutions to issues. Claire engages with potential clients, offering bespoke solutions, building strong stakeholder relationships and collaborating with internal teams to ensure the effective marketing and quality assurance of fund services.

Prior to joining Abacus, she was a senior regulator at the Isle of Man Financial Services Authority, where she played a pivotal role in developing policies and legislative frameworks. Claire ensured alignment with international regulatory standards, liaised with industry representatives to drive the development of regulatory initiatives, and contributed to shaping the Isle of Man’s financial services regulatory regime.

Claire holds a law degree from the University of Bristol and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.  She is a Chartered Member of the Governance Institute, is a Chartered Secretary and a member of the Institute of Directors. She also serves on the committee of the Isle of Man Wealth and Fund Services Association and is a former co-chair.
