Emily oversees the in-house tax function, responsible for the UK and Isle of Man tax implications of trusts, companies and individuals. She has oversight of the ongoing compliance of client structures, and works closely with other professional advisers to ensure their continued efficiency in a changing legislative landscape.
She monitors the potential tax and VAT implications of transactions, ensures FATCA/CRS compliance for in-house entities and is responsible for day-to-day management of the team.
Emily is particularly experienced in assisting entities with direct UK residential and agricultural property investments, trust structures, and high net worth clients with internationally diversified assets.
She acquired her technical knowledge at a leading private client accountancy firm in London before relocating back to the Isle of Man where she has strengthened her understanding of the offshore finance industry and in particular the fiduciary services sector.
Emily graduated from the University of Cambridge with an MA in Philosophy and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
