Jo provides guidance and support throughout the employee life cycle, from recruitment and on-boarding to annual rewards. In her role, she oversees the framework for staff induction, performance, training, appraisals and disciplinary matters. In addition, she assists in the implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.
Jo also heads a varied portfolio of operational projects, including internal remediation and administrative improvement plans. She works closely with the IT department to ensure our systems are continuously updated and robust, a key task in maintaining operational excellence across the Abacus group.
During her career, Jo has benefitted from a number of different roles in the finance sector, with a particular focus on team leadership, client service, mentoring, change management and stakeholder engagement.
