Simon is responsible for the development, delivery, and support of Abacus’ bespoke in-house client administration system and its integration with third-party systems. He also produces system documentation, provides other IT-based solutions, and writes ad hoc reports as required by the business.
Prior to joining Abacus in 2005, Simon worked as a Senior Consultant at a software consultancy providing services to the life assurance industry, and as a programmer working in the railway industry developing and supporting maintenance, operations, and timetabling systems.
Simon is a Member of the Institute of Analysts and Programmers and holds a degree in Accounting & Financial Management and Pure Mathematics.
