Andrew is responsible for the overall management, vision and strategic direction of the Abacus Trust Group.
He has more than 30 years’ experience in the financial services industry holding a number of management and directorship roles. His focus has been to advise on and implement long-term wealth planning and asset protection arrangements for internationally-based entrepreneurs and families, as well as their corporate entities, while having been based himself in several financial centres including London, Jersey, Singapore and Monaco.
At Abacus he places an emphasis on exceptional service delivery across the Group through personal, proactive client relationships – including those he leads directly - based on the foundations of the organisation which are independence, integrity and insight.
Andrew moved from Singapore to join Abacus in Monaco as Chief Executive Officer in 2017. Previously he held a number of key positions at Barclays Wealth including leading the International Wealth Advisory Team, Barclays Global Trusts and the bank’s Asia Wealth and Investment Management business. Before Barclays he was a tax partner at the Big 4 accountancy firm EY in London, where he headed Private Client Advisory Services for UK and Ireland.
Andrew studied Physics at Queen Mary College, University of London and is a Chartered Taxation Adviser and member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation.
