Abacus is looking for an experienced individual with technical skills and the ability to share that knowledge with others.
Duties will include:
- Responsibility for the day-to-day management of a complex and varied portfolio of clients
- Delivering effective solutions in a timely and cost-effective manner
- Offering supervisory, coaching and leadership skills to a small team
- Ensuring very high standards of service delivery
- Delivering a high standard of compliance with all regulatory obligations
- Building and maintaining positive working relationships.
Skills & competencies required to undertake the role:
- A proven track record of managing a team within the TCSP sector
- Pragmatic with excellent problem-solving skills
- Be self-motivated and driven to progress
- Effective manager and adapter to change.
Experience & qualifications:
- Relevant professional qualification ie STEP, ICSA
- Have significant industry experience
- Working knowledge of the current AML legislation and FSA rule book at they apply to a regulated TCSP
- Ability to identify and consider tax and legal implications of transactions.
