Trust Manager

Abacus is looking for an experienced individual with technical skills and the ability to share that knowledge with others.

Duties will include:

  • Responsibility for the day-to-day management of a complex and varied portfolio of clients
  • Delivering effective solutions in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • Offering supervisory, coaching and leadership skills to a small team
  • Ensuring very high standards of service delivery
  • Delivering a high standard of compliance with all regulatory obligations
  • Building and maintaining positive working relationships.

Skills & competencies required to undertake the role:

  • A proven track record of managing a team within the TCSP sector
  • Pragmatic with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Be self-motivated and driven to progress
  • Effective manager and adapter to change. 

Experience & qualifications:

  • Relevant professional qualification ie STEP, ICSA
  • Have significant industry experience
  • Working knowledge of the current AML legislation and FSA rule book at they apply to a regulated TCSP
  • Ability to identify and consider tax and legal implications of transactions.
