The 7th annual Isle of Man Aviation Conference was organised by Martyn Fiddler Aviation and supported by the Isle of Man Aircraft Registry. This year’s conference took place on Thursday 22 June at the Villa Marina in Douglas.
The event attracted high profile speakers and delegates from all over the world. Panels and education sessions held throughout the day covered timely and important issues, such as the implications of Brexit for business aviation, setting up an aviation business on the Isle of Man, security and top advocacy priorities across Europe. The programme also included two evening networking opportunities and an additional networking opportunity the following day.
Representing Abacus Aviation at the event, Paul Watterson, Director, commented “Abacus Aviation services are continually reviewed and shaped to meet the ever changing requirements and regulations of the industry to ensure that the ownership structures we establish and administer are both compliant with current regulations and meet with clients’ specific requirements.”
“Therefore, the Isle of Man Aviation Conference was a must attend to hear about the latest topical issues within the industry and to meet with other aviation professionals from around the world.”
Being located in two key jurisdictions (the Isle of Man and Malta), Abacus Aviation is very well placed to assist with the co-ordination of the aircraft purchase, providing tax and VAT efficient ownership structures, and their related administration services, along with aircraft importation and registration.
