Abacus to Attend International Festival of Business

Representatives from Abacus, will be attending the upcoming International Festival of Business 2014 (‘IFB 2014’) taking pace in Liverpool between June and July 2014.

The UK’s biggest business festival aimed at connecting UK business to international markets and which places a large focus on creating new international and domestic business to business relationships, expects to attract  an assortment of exhibiting companies, experts, trade bodies, intermediaries and delegates from all over the world.

Split into seven themes, the festival’s calendar includes around 6-7 weeks of business focused events ranging from major international conventions, exhibitions and conferences, to product/process launches and demonstrations, master-classes, seminars and workshops, to award ceremonies, dinners, business breakfasts and a host of ‘meet the buyer’ events, all of which held in and around Liverpool.

Paul Kneen (CEO, Abacus Financial Services Group), Emer Dowling (Director, Abacus Trust Company Limited), David Stevenson (Business Development Director, Abacus Financial Services Group) and Shaun Corris (Senior Trust Manager, Abacus Trust Company Limited) will represent Abacus at the festival, primarily during the Knowledge, Financial and Professional Services week. Mr. Kneen said: “This type of event is a great way to meet new people – the festival is predicted to deliver an engaged business audience of 250,000 professionals from over 125 countries. With such a vast and diverse delegate list, it will undoubtedly provide a great networking platform for anyone who attends.”

Emer Dowling added: “There are a variety of industry events being held during the festival; many of which are set to provide delegates valuable insight into the respective business sectors as well as affording them the opportunity to meet new people and form new business relationships. To have so many individuals from so many different industries, professions, business sectors and even countries in one place, is not an opportunity that comes along too often; we believe the festival could prove very successful.

Abacus representatives will be attending various conferences and networking events in addition to a schedule of pre-planned meetings during their time at the festival.
