Abacus will be attending the 2nd London Yacht, Jet & Prestige Car Show, being held at Old Billingsgate and St Katharine Docks in the City of London on 4-6 May 2016.
The event, which made its debut last year, is an exclusive event and the only London event of its type, where the world’s top companies involved with superyachts, prestige cars, private jets, helicopters and designer and luxury goods will be giving all that attend an enjoyable insight into this exclusive world.
With an in-water show at St Katharine Docks and a number of Thames-side Champagne Bars, this event is one to be enjoyed by many, whether entertaining clients or friends, or looking to network and make new contacts.
Representing Abacus at the event will be John-Michael McCann and Samantha Snow. John-Michael holds valuable experience in a range of private aircraft transactions and their holding structures and has a keen interest in the aviation industry as a whole. Samantha Snow has vast experience across a diverse range of sectors with a particular focus on the yachting industry and related indirect tax matters having worked with many international clients.
Commenting of the upcoming event, Samantha said: “Though similar in many of their qualities, our offices based in Isle of Man and Malta have individual attributes which, depending on client objectives and needs, provides opportunities for clients to consider alternative jurisdictions whilst being assured of competitive services in both locations. We are keen to promote both the Isle of Man and Malta to the yacht and aviation industry for registration and related administration services and I feel that the London Yacht, Jet and Private Car Show will be a great venue for us to do so. The legislation across jurisdictions is continuously changing and developing so a carefully thought out structure for luxury asset purchase and retention is still of the utmost importance: Abacus is well placed to assist clients with this and we are looking forward to discussing the various opportunities available to attendees of the London Yacht, Jet and Private Car Show”.
The events aims to encourage debate and discussion, provide industry updates and will enable invaluable networking opportunities for its range of delegates.
